305 Hackathon – Get Ready for Kickoff on September 19

Dear Participants,

We’re just days away from 305 Hackathon – Fall 2025! Here’s everything you need to know before the event begins:

Event Kickoff

  • Check-In: Friday, September 19 at 6:00 PM

  • After 7:00 PM, walk-ins will be accepted until venue capacity is reached

  • Opening Ceremony: Friday, September 19 at 8:00 PM

    • Welcome from Noelle Jackson, Founder of The HUB @ Office Logic

What to Bring

  • Laptop, charger, and any accessories you need to hack

  • Student ID or government-issued ID

  • Headphones if you prefer to focus while working

Project & Submission Guidelines

  • First commit during the Opening Ceremony

  • Second commit by Saturday mid-day

  • Third (or final) commit early Sunday morning

  • List your whole team in the README

  • Fill out the team form to track participation and your selected track

  • Demo: Sunday, September 21 — 2 minutes maximum (video required)

  • Make sure your project is pushed to GitHub and submitted on Devpost

Hextronics Workshop & Challenge

We’re thrilled to announce an exclusive workshop and challenge from Hextronics:

  • Workshop: Join Curtis Lary (Georgia Tech ’20), Founder & CEO of Hextronics, for a hands-on session with their drone base station. You’ll learn about drone integration, see live flights, and explore APIs for real-time project functionality.

  • Exclusive Challenge: Compete in the Hextronics Smart City Drone Challenge for a chance to win a $500 prize. Teams can leverage Hextronics’ on-site drone technology, API integration, and recorded aerial footage for computer vision and smart city applications.
